IRONMAN officially documents Sam Laidlow’s breakthrough victory at the 2023 IRONMAN World Championship in Nice, France, where the French athlete claimed his first world title while racing in Fusion TEMPO! performance apparel.
Laidlow completed the race in 8:06:22 after a 47:50 swim, a race-best 4:31:28 bike split and a 2:41:46 marathon. The victory made the 24-year-old the youngest winner in the history of the IRONMAN World Championship and the first French athlete to claim the men’s title.
