Project Breakaway
Project Breakaway
Project Breakaway was built to overhaul Uno-X Mobility’s race wardrobe for the fastest days in professional cycling. Through wind tunnel testing, prototype development and athlete feedback, FUSION developed race-specific apparel for breakaways, flat stages, hot conditions and high-speed execution.
The project has since been translated into two Grand Tour stage wins: Jonas Abrahamsen in the Tour de France and Fredrik Dversnes in the Giro d’Italia.

Project Sub 4 was built around a clear goal for French triathlete Sam Laidlow: breaking the four-hour barrier on the bike segment at the Ironman World Championship in Kona.
Through aerodynamic and thermal optimization, Sam Laidlow became the first to ride under four hours on the course, with a 3:57:22 bike split.

Project Hour Record focused on optimizing the complete system around Vittoria Bussi: rider position, apparel, aerodynamics and track conditions.
The result was a new Women’s Hour Record, with Bussi becoming the first woman to break 50 kilometres in one hour.
