Velomore reports on two-time Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard visiting the Fusion Tempo Wind Tunnel in Aalborg as part of his preparations for the Tour de France.
Following an approach from the Visma-Lease a Bike performance team, Fusion opened its normally non-commercial testing facility for Vingegaard to work on aerodynamic optimization and marginal gains. The wind tunnel is otherwise used for Fusion’s own athletes and the company’s research and development of new aerodynamic materials and performance apparel.
The session places Fusion’s in-house aerodynamic capabilities directly within elite professional cycling, demonstrating how the same testing environment used for product innovation can support performance optimization at the highest level of the sport.
