Biography
You might not believe it, but Magnus has neither a background in elite sports nor a national talent program. However, he has always had a deep love for sports, especially soccer, and was more active than most during his primary school days. When the local soccer team disbanded around his high school years, Magnus shifted his focus to running and cycling. At the age of 19, he tried his first triathlon, without making much of a splash. However, his trajectory gained momentum when Magnus was soon enlisted in the newly established elite group at KTK86.
With an unwavering training discipline and a determination to optimize every aspect, Magnus quickly made a mark internationally in the 70.3 distance from 2019 to 2021. He solidified his status as a genuine superstar in the spring of 2022 with a highly dramatic debut in the Ironman distance, followed by a completely dominant victory in Challenge Roth. Magnus demonstrated a level that belongs among the absolute best in the world. As of early 2024, he is ranked as the number 2 on the PTO's world rankings.

Fun fact
Magnus is not afraid to take an unconventional approach in order to shave off important seconds. He has expanded the cockpit on his bike, for example, with duct tape and parts from a yoga mat.
