Danish e-commerce agency Grafikr documents the development and relaunch of Fusion’s Shopify Plus platform, built around greater internal flexibility, a stronger brand experience and a more iterative approach to digital development.

Rather than treating the launch as a finished digital product, Fusion and Grafikr approached the website as a continuously evolving platform. The initial objective was to give Fusion greater control over everyday e-commerce operations while improving navigation, load times, communication and the overall user experience.

The approach mirrors Fusion’s broader product philosophy: instead of replacing products through frequent seasonal collections, existing products are continuously refined. Grafikr describes how the same principle was applied to the website, launching once the new platform had reached the required functional level and then using real-world data to guide further improvements.

Although increased sales were not the primary objective of the relaunch, Grafikr reports that the new platform subsequently delivered a 45% increase in conversion rate.

The case provides a technology partner’s perspective on how Fusion applies continuous improvement not only to physical products and production, but also to the digital infrastructure supporting the brand and its international e-commerce operation.
