Katrine Græsbøll Christensen named triathlete of the year in Denmark

Huge congratulations to Katrine Græsbøll Christensen on being named Triathlete of the Year in Denmark.
We are proud to be working with Katrine. Her dedication and drive, inspire everyone who encounters it. She is truly one of a kind.
Coming from a background in kayaking she has also completed a degree in civil engineering. She manages to balance life as an elite athlete with being a mother to her daughter, all while delivering world-class performances and continually pushing the limits of her own potential.

With an 11th-place finish at the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, Katrine achieved the best Danish female result in years. She consistently performed at a top level throughout the season, including victories at Ironman Sweden and Ironman 70.3 Krakow.
“Even though we are a small country, we have many truly talented triathletes, so it’s an extra great honor to be named Triathlete of the Year 2025. When I look back at my results in 2025, it’s with great pride, and it gives me a boost of confidence and the spark to do even better in 2026,” Katrine said to Triathlon Denmark when she received the award.
From the very first time we met Katrine, we knew she had something special. She was completely new to triathlon, but she had the humility and willingness to learn, needed to become one of the very best.
In doing so, she also proved that you can go extremely far with the right mindset and attitude.
Congratulations, Katrine!
