Uno-X Mobility and FUSION Announce Partnership
Uno-X Mobility and the Danish high-performance clothing brand FUSION are proud to announce their new partnership. The agreement covers the development and supply of advanced training and race cycling apparel for both Uno-X Mobility's UCI Women’s World Team and UCI Pro Team men’s squad, marking a new milestone for both organizations.
A Nordic Partnership
Uno-X Mobility, the leading Nordic cycling team, looks forward to strengthening Nordic ties through this collaboration. Thor Hushovd, General Team Manager for Uno-X Mobility, states: "We are very excited to partner with Danish brand FUSION. FUSION is innovative and extremely dedicated to creating the fastest and best cycling apparel on the market - exactly the type of company Uno-X Mobility wants to associate with."
Precision and Dedication
Per Nissen, co-founder of FUSION, comments: "At FUSION, we are dedicated to precision and the small details that make a big difference. Our team is deeply passionate about performance and has already contributed to several world records. The collaboration with Uno-X Mobility offers us a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a Tour de France-level cycling team and elevate our expertise to new heights."
Agile Development
Casper von Folsach, Performance Manager at Uno-X Mobility, adds: "This new close partnership, along with FUSION's agile approach to development, will allow us to implement innovative solutions throughout the season as good ideas emerge. FUSION’s ability to quickly adapt and improve their products perfectly aligns with our need to stay ahead of the curve."
Cutting-Edge Technology
An exciting aspect of this partnership is FUSION's ongoing development of their own in house wind tunnel - the first of its kind owned by an apparel brand globally. This wind tunnel - named Tempo! Wind Tunnel, located at FUSION’s headquarters, will provide Uno-X Mobility with access to top-tier testing facilities, enabling fine-tuning of apparel construction and optimizing rider aerodynamics. Thor Hushovd adds: "Having access to FUSION's upcoming wind tunnel gives us a unique opportunity to optimize our equipment and enhance our riders' performance. We have high expectations for what this can evolve into."
Expectations for the Future
Troels from FUSION’s marketing team says: "This collaboration will significantly increase interest in our brand within the cycling world. Our slogan, 'Almost Unfair,' reflects our commitment to creating products that give our athletes a significant advantage."
Impressive Achievements
FUSION has already achieved considerable success in the sports world. Triathlete Magnus Ditlev recently set a world record at Challenge Roth, which he won for the third consecutive year. Frenchman Sam Laidlow won the Ironman World Championship in 2023, both athletes wearing FUSION apparel.
Italian Vittoria Bussi set a new hour record on the track, becoming the first woman to ride over 50 km in one hour, also in FUSION apparel.
Moreover, FUSION has a historical connection to Uno-X, having also been the apparel partner when Jonas Vingegaard and Casper von Folsach raced for the development Continental team Coloquick, where current Uno-X Mobility Sports Director Christian Foget Andersen also served as sports director for the Danish team. FUSION remains the apparel partner for Coloquick Cycling.
Uno-X riders will begin competing in FUSION apparel from the start of the new year and continue for the next two years.
