Women’s Long Bib Tights – stay warm and comfortable on long rides
When the temperature drops and the weather becomes more challenging, a pair of long bib tights for women is essential. At FUSION, we have developed two models that meet different needs and riding conditions – from cool summer days to the most demanding winter training sessions.
Women’s Long Bib Tights are designed for versatile rides in transitional weather, when you need extra protection without compromising comfort. The tights combine thermoregulating fabric on the front of the thighs and knees – keeping you warm without overheating – with moisture-wicking panels on the back that efficiently transport sweat away from the skin. The tights have no built-in chamois and should therefore be paired with your preferred short bibs with padding for optimal comfort on longer rides. The close, elastic fit provides full freedom of movement, while rear-facing 3M reflective details ensure visibility during dark mornings and evenings. These bib tights are perfect for women who want flexible and versatile long bibs for both cool summer days and frost-free winter rides.
Women’s S3 Long Bib Tights are our advanced winter cycling tights for women, developed for the most demanding cold-weather training rides. With a 3-layer membrane front panel, the tights provide effective protection against wind and light precipitation, while the high breathability ensures excess heat and moisture are efficiently transported away from the body. The inside is lined with soft fleece, providing insulating warmth and making the tights ideal for temperatures from -5°C to 10°C. The material is highly elastic, ensuring a close and comfortable fit that follows the body’s movements regardless of riding style or body shape. Like our Long Bib Tights, the S3 model has no built-in chamois, so they should be combined with short bibs with padding for optimal comfort. Discreet 3M reflective details on the lower legs and an elastic foot strap keep the tights in place and increase safety when riding in low light.
The difference between the two models lies in the level of insulation and protection: Women’s Long Bib Tights are ideal for transitional seasons and mild temperatures, while Women’s S3 Long Bib Tights are designed for the coldest and most demanding rides where wind and water protection, as well as warmth, are crucial.
With our long bib tights, you get comfort, functionality, and a women’s-specific fit. Remember, however, that they do not have a built-in chamois and should therefore be paired with a pair of women’s short cycling shorts with padding for maximum comfort and support in the saddle.
