Cycling Bib Shorts and Tights
Cycling Shorts – a sharp combination of European craftsmanship and Scandinavian design
Finding the perfect pair of cycling shorts can be a challenge – many have tried riding in shorts that neither fit comfortably nor provide enough padding. At FUSION, we know how much difference a good pair of shorts makes. Our cycling shorts and bib shorts for men and women are designed with ergonomic fit, breathability, and durability, so you can perform without being held back by gear that doesn’t deliver.
Our range is wide – from the versatile TEMPO! Bib Shorts, ideal for both training and competition, to our top-tier TEMPO! Pro Bib Shorts, developed together with professional athletes to give you an aerodynamic advantage. Whether you ride road, MTB, or gravel, we have bib shorts to match your needs.
Innovation in the wind tunnel
Did you know that FUSION is the first sportswear manufacturer with its own wind tunnel? This enables us to test and improve cycling shorts under realistic conditions – optimizing aerodynamics. That means fewer watts lost to drag and more speed in every pedal stroke.
Cycling shorts for every ride
Whether you’re navigating gravel paths, MTB trails, or long road tours, you need shorts that can keep up. TEMPO! Bib Shorts are developed for versatility – with durable materials, high comfort, and a precision-shaped chamois, so you can ride longer without discomfort.
High-end technology for maximum performance
If you’re after the most advanced gear, we offer TEMPO! Pro Bib Shorts. Developed in collaboration with UCI teams and aerodynamic specialists, they deliver a pro-level fit in ultralight fabrics that reduce drag. At the same time, compression technology helps reduce muscle fatigue, so you can perform at your best even on the longest rides.
Comfort in the details
It’s the small details that make the big difference: silicone leg grippers keep the shorts in place, breathable and quick-drying materials keep you dry, and opaque fabrics give you confidence in all conditions.
Extra layers for cold days
When the temperature drops, Long Bib Tights and S3 Long Bib Tights are the perfect outer layer. They are designed to be worn over your bib shorts and provide extra warmth and wind protection – without compromising fit or freedom of movement.
Create your look
Want to add some extra style? Our range of cycling jerseys lets you combine classic black shorts with colorful jersey designs – so you can ride in comfort while expressing your personal style.
Find the right shorts for you
Every rider has different needs and preferences. That’s why we offer a broad range of cycling shorts, so you can find exactly the model that fits your discipline and riding style. If in doubt, our team is ready to help you find the optimal gear that gives you both comfort and performance on the bike.

Why should I choose cycling shorts from FUSION?
At FUSION, we design cycling shorts for women and men with the same uncompromising approach that we take onto the road ourselves. Since 1999, we have developed sportswear where function always comes before fashion. Our focus is to give you gear that delivers – whether the sun is blazing, the rain is pouring, or you’re pushing yourself through the last kilometers of a long ride.
All our fabrics are produced in Europe and chosen for their technical performance, durability, and comfort. With our own sewing facilities in Lithuania, we control the entire process from start to finish. That means we can guarantee the same high standard every time, minimize waste, and make continuous adjustments – often in close collaboration with riders who push our products to the limit.
We are cyclists ourselves and know what it takes to stay in the saddle hour after hour. That’s why every pair of cycling shorts is tested on the road, on gravel, and in the forest before hitting the shelves. Small details like seam placement, panel construction, and strap elasticity may seem minor on paper, but on the bike they determine whether you feel free and comfortable – after half an hour and after five hours.
When you choose cycling shorts from FUSION, you’re choosing more than just a piece of kit. You get a product shaped by experience, tested with passion, and made with care. Our cycling shorts are built to last for many seasons and to support you whether you ride for the experience, for training, or to go faster than ever before.

Why quality cycling shorts are essential for both men and women
A good pair of padded cycling shorts is one of the most important investments for any cyclist – whether you’re riding short indoor sessions or long days on the road. The integrated chamois relieves pressure on sensitive areas, reduces friction, and ensures maximum comfort even after many hours in the saddle. For both men and women, the goal is the same: a close-fitting design with a high-quality pad prevents soreness and provides significantly better comfort on the bike.
Cycling shorts with straps – known as bib shorts – also provide a superior fit. The straps keep the shorts up, preventing them from sliding down, and the pad stays in place throughout the ride. This reduces the risk of chafing and minimizes friction against the skin, delivering higher comfort even on long distances. Another advantage of bib shorts is that they don’t have a tight waistband. That means no pressure on your stomach and no irritation from a band that collects sweat and rubs against the skin. Overall, many riders find that bib shorts feel more like an integrated part of the body, increasing both comfort and freedom of movement.
Quality cycling shorts also provide muscle support through light compression in the fabric. This helps improve blood circulation and reduce muscle fatigue in the legs on longer rides. This support can help you perform better, whether you prefer road, gravel, or an intense indoor session.
Although bib shorts are the most popular choice for their many benefits, we also offer a strapless alternative for women. These cycling shorts without straps deliver the same padding comfort but with the added freedom of a strapless design. That makes them a strong supplement for riders who want flexibility in their wardrobe without compromising comfort and function.

FAQ
How should cycling shorts fit?
Cycling shorts should fit close to the body – almost like a second skin. This ensures the chamois sits correctly and reduces the risk of friction and chafing. They shouldn’t be so tight that they feel uncomfortable, but not so loose that they fold.
Checklist:
- They should fit snugly without restricting movement.
- Ensure the chamois covers the contact points with the saddle.
- Loose fabric or folds can cause rubbing and sores.
- They should provide support without squeezing or cutting in.
How do I prevent saddle sores?
The most important factors are correct fit, a good chamois, and hygiene. Never wear underwear under bib shorts, wash them after every ride, and use chamois cream on hot days or very long stages if needed.
What do you wear under cycling shorts?
You should not wear regular underwear under cycling shorts. They are designed with a built-in chamois that sits directly against the skin to provide support and reduce friction. Wearing underwear can create folds that cause chafing and discomfort. Cycling shorts should therefore always be worn directly on the skin.
What does bib mean?
“Bib” refers to cycling shorts with straps. Bibs provide extra comfort because they keep the shorts and the chamois in place without tightening around the stomach.
What does compression in mmHg mean – and how does it help?
Compression in cycling shorts refers to how tightly the fabric “hugs” the muscles. It’s often measured in mmHg (millimeters of mercury) – the same unit used for blood pressure. In FUSION’s top models, the level is around 10–12 mmHg, which is considered optimal in sports textiles: strong enough to provide real effect, but without restricting blood flow.
There are three key performance benefits to this controlled compression:
Muscle support under load
When you push big watts, muscle fibers vibrate with each pedal stroke. These micro-vibrations waste energy and accelerate fatigue. Compression fabric stabilizes the muscles and reduces vibrations, so more of your energy translates into forward motion.
Improved blood circulation
The light pressure around the muscles helps blood return to the heart. The result is more efficient transport of oxygen and nutrients to the working muscles – and faster removal of waste products like lactate. That means you can sustain high intensity longer before your legs burn out.
Faster recovery
The increased blood flow continues even after training. That’s why many riders feel fresher the next day after riding in shorts with effective compression. It’s especially beneficial for riders training or racing on consecutive days.
At FUSION, compression isn’t just about “tight shorts.” It’s carefully calibrated through fabric choice, weave direction, and panel placement on the thigh, so pressure is highest exactly where it’s most effective – typically on the quadriceps and hamstrings. At the same time, it’s combined with high elasticity across the fabric, so the shorts still feel flexible while actively supporting your muscles.
Can the same cycling shorts be used for road, gravel, and MTB?
Yes. FUSION’s bib shorts are versatile and developed for long road rides, rough gravel terrain, and technical MTB. The close fit and stable chamois ensure they work across disciplines.
Can I use FUSION cycling shorts for spinning?
Yes, our cycling shorts are suitable for both outdoor cycling and indoor training such as spinning, thanks to their comfortable fit and moisture-wicking properties.
How do I wash my products?
Extend the lifespan of your clothing by washing less and with care. Air them out after use, and only wash when necessary – preferably right after use on a short, low-temperature program. Use color-specific detergent, avoid fabric softener and tumble drying (except S2 products, which can occasionally be tumble-dried at low heat). Close zippers, protect against Velcro and friction, and always choose the right size.
Use the clothing for its intended purpose and put it on with care. Small damages can often be repaired, and spare parts are available. Reduce microplastic release by washing at low temperature, using liquid detergent, and possibly installing a filter or using a wash bag.
Can I exchange my order?
Yes, you can exchange your purchase for another size or color as long as it’s the same product. It’s important that you register your return in the return portal before sending the product back, so we know how you want to exchange it. If you want to exchange to the (X-Long) version with extra leg length, this is also possible, but you need to contact us at support@fusion.dk, since this version cannot be selected in the return portal. We can handle it manually.

When will my order be shipped?
If you order before 1:00 PM on a weekday, your order will usually be packed and shipped the same day. This does not apply to products with custom printing or items marked as pre-orders with longer delivery times.
